Michael obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and articled with a local chartered accounting firm in Edmonton. He received his CA designation in 1993 and joined our firm in 1995.
Michael’s clients include a broad range of small to medium sized local businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Michael maintains a solid understanding of the constantly changing accounting software market and works with our clients to maximize the efficiency and reporting information provided by their accounting solutions. For Michael, the communication and personal interaction with his clients, helping them understand their business and their reporting requirements, is the most gratifying aspect of his work.
Michael and his wife Lorretta have enjoyed raising their family of three girls in the Bulkley Valley. He has been involved in various local community organizations over the years and participates in numerous sports activities. He takes every opportunity he can to get out on our local squash courts and he organizes the annual Edmison Mehr Rusty Elbow squash tournament each November.
